In other news, I went to New York this tuesday, and on the road i drew some crazy sketches- and yes, someone ELSE was driving.

here's a raw sample of a page of my sketches, demonstrating what my drawings look like when i try to make pictures while traveling at rapid speeds on cement highways.

Benchmark

This is me, playing with my park bench background painting, putting in different characters and coloring them on the comp to see how they look. some, better than others.

Crow has "Toupee" for the bald man's humiliation.

The squirrel is about to explode with excitement from the rabbit's nutty gift.

and the turtle is probably going to be accosted for vagrancy.

The novel is done...sans editing, which i may begin in january.
The animation project can reccommence.
A new project emerges from nowhere.

I have begun to work on a design for another wood-carving: a pinewood derby car that is shaped like a roasted flying pig, with apple firmly between its lips. i sketched a basic idea down, and will begin assembling the thing whenever the mood strikes me.
